| ITWSPS Stretch Wrappers Over the years, ITW Stretch Packaging Systems
has earned a well-deserved reputation for giving customers a
wide
range
of
stretch wrapping
machines from which to choose. From semiautomatic to automatic
machines, turntable styles to overhead spiral, and rotary ring,
ITW Stretch Packaging Systems stretch wrapping machines
are designed and built with value and reliability as a top priority.
The heart of any wrapping machine is its prestretch.
A high performance film prestretching system is essential for
any stretch wrapper to operate at peak efficiency. That's because
stretch film is designed to be stretched. In fact, most high
quality stretch films are much stronger after being stretched
from 230% to 280%. ITW Stretch Packaging Systems is proud of
our Octo-Thread powered pre-stretch film delivery systems
that
yield
up to 300%
film stretch for superior load retention and excellent film economy.
This system employs our patented strain gauge technology to assure
that the film output will respond instantly to the corners of
the load during the wrap cycle.

The Raptor Turntable Series contains both semi-automatic
and automatic models. Turntables are designed to handle stable
loads up to 4,000 pounds. The pallet is placed on the turntable
and spins while the film is applied to the load.

The Cobra Overhead Series contains both semi-automatic
and automatic models. These stretch wrappers, using an overhead
rotary arm, are ideally suited to handle unstable, very light
or very heavy loads. Pallets can be placed on the floor, allowing
weights up to the floor's capacity. The load remains stationary
while the arm and film carriage rotate around it applying the
wrap.

With its patented rotary ring, the Octupus Series
of automatic stretch wrappers is designed for high volume situations
ranging from 50 loads per hour to 120+ loads per hour. As with
the Cobra, the pallet remains stationary while the rotary ring
descends around the load. The film carriage rotates around the
ring and wraps the load.
